We all use Gmail in our day to day uses but most of the Gmail users are un-aware about its many secret advanced features which are very useful. 1. Advanced Shortcuts
For the users who spends lot of time on computer using keyboard shortcuts always faster way to work. Some shortcuts are always ON by default on Gmail but you may ON more shortcuts too.
Settings –> Keyboard Shortcuts –> Keyboard shortcuts on –> Save changes
After turning it ON. Shortcut keys will get active on Gmail. For Ex. To compose new Email simply press “C”. Here is the complete list of keyboard shortcuts on Gmail. You may check it by clicking on “Learn More” link.
2. Change Star Color Or Icon
On Gmail any email can be marked with star to notify priority of that email. By default it is Star with yellow color. You may change the color of this icon or can also change icon style.

3. Keyboard Shortcuts
There are some shortcuts which are ON by default too which provides faster way to work. Here are some of those
- Send Email –> CTRL+ENTER
- Click on next window –> CTRL+ .
- CC all receivers –> CTRL + SHIFT + C
- BCC all receivers –> CTRL + SHIFT + B
4. To Do List
This is one of the very important feature which memorize any task which you saved here, each time when you visit Gmail. It keep open all your To-Do-List tasks in Popup.

5. Backup All Gmail Messages
You can backup all Gmail messages or can also forward this backup on any other email id. Its process is very simple. Simply go to
Settings –> Forwarding and POP/IMAP –> Add a forwarding address
When you click on “Add a forwarding address” a popup will come asking you to enter a “forwarding email”. Enter email id on which you wants to receive the backup of existing Gmail. It will send all emails to backup email id.
